We decided to go on a family adventure right here in Florida before the start of the school year. We went to our friend Kevin's house, fed the Donkey Pete some carrots, borrowed a canoe, and set out for the Suwannee River:
We paddled up stream against the current until the current stopped us in our tracks. We tried a little fishing with no luck. Mommy's fishing pole got broke. So, we decided to try something else.
Poe Springs!
We put our boat in the Suwannee River at Poe Springs Park. So we decided to give it a try:
But the water was pretty cold. We enjoyed walking through the spring and down to the Suwanne River where the water was a little warmer.
