Our Family Vacation

Day Three
Rock Island State Park in Tennessee

We had lots of fun exploring in and around Rock Island State Park!
Caney Fork River Gorge:
Our exploring got cut short when the sirens went off warning of high river flow.
We decided to try our luck at some fishing here:

We caught some crayfish for bait and Mommy caught some spot fish.  She saw a large snake and we saw a very big fish swim by us but we could not get him to take our bait.

After lunch we went for a hike on Eagle Trail:
There was a terrible storm the day before this hike (that we drove through on the way to the campgrounds) that caused lots of trees to come down.  We had to climb up, over, and around all the branches that covered the trail along the way:
But we made it through to Baby Falls:
We were almost made it through the whole trail but look what blocked our way:
Time to go back to the camp site. We met a nice family in the campsite right next to us and made a new friend:
 Time for smores!!

Day Four
Rock Island State Park in Tennessee
Twin Falls:

We found a great place to stop and take a break:

More waterfalls:
Next we decide to explore the Upstream Gorge Trail:
It was a hot day so we found some fun ways to cool off:

To be continued. . .
