We have a new addition to our....
neighborhood:
This sweet little kitty had been wandering around the neighborhood looking for love and care.
Ms. Karla (our neighbor/friend across the street) took her to the vet and had her checked for a tracking chip with no luck. She also posted a found cat notice with some interesting results. Rumor has it that Miss Kitty was abandoned by a neighbor (on the next street over). The story has it that Miss Kitty was left when the family moved away. The family was contacted by another neighbor, who knew them and Miss Kitty, but when asked about returning to get Miss Kitty, they would not respond and did not come back for her.
Miss Kitty was hungry, in need of flea control, and was starving for attention. So our two families have "adopted" Miss Kitty. We feed her and give her plenty of attention too:
She loves to relax on our Glider:
When she not relaxing on or under the glider she loves to be outside exploring the neighborhood or just relaxing in the sun:
She comes running to the door whenever we leave the house:
And when we come home she waits outside on our doorstep for treats and food:
She also eats and drinks at Ms. Karla's house
When the weather is bad she sleeps in their garage.
Miss Kitty has lots of other kitty friends who visit her frequently:
Miss Kitty is usually quite lovable. However,she can also be a little grumpy and has hissed,bit, and slapped at us a few times (seemingly unprovoked):
Even with your occasional bad attitude we are happy to have you in our lives Miss Kitty:
