When mom got up we had a special birthday plan. First Rachel sang and played "Happy Birthday" on the ukulele:
Lizzy made an awesome tribute poster for mom:

Before we get to the party we have something to share. . .
Back in October we decided to remove the back porch and add an addition to our home. Mom wanted a home gym and a mudroom. While exploring our options we decided to also add a walk-in closet and expand the master bathroom with a skylight. Although the addition was no where near finished mom was able to have her birthday party in the new room!
Mom was excited to celebrate her friends and family on her birthday. She had prizes (gifts) for them!
The prizes were a mixture of fitness gear, music and other fun stuff.
She had a DJ booth (soon to be a walk-in closet) and Lizzy was the DJ:
Before the party mom asked all her guests to submit a song that they would like to hear at the party. Everyone sent in a song and that was the playlist for the night! Before each song was played a shot-out was given by DJ Lizzy to the person who submitted the song.
The party was so much fun! Mom said it was the best party she has ever had!!
The next day, Mom opened a very thoughtful gift given to her from her friend Dimple:
