Week Five Day Three Trail Adventure: Newman's Conservation Area - South Tract.
First time on this trail. It is definitely going to rain today. We left early to avoid the big storms.
We are planning to do the 2.2 miles white blaze loop.
Today we are at the South Tract. We plan to do the other hikes another day.
It started drizzling a bit, but we pressed on.

A little wet, but still smiling:
Despite the on off drizzling and threat of rain, they were walking and talking and not really keeping up:
Not a whole lot of flowers along the way.

The second half of the trail was super soft sandy soil that was not easy to traverse. Despite complaints we kept going.
We ended at the Lake:
Although it sprinkled on us a few times it never really rained while we were on the hike. Happy hikers:
Not a pretty day, but being by the water was nice:
