Mini-Vacation

We headed straight for the . . .

Beach!
We ran from waves:


We soaked up the sun, the sand and the water:

Of course we made. . .

A sandcastle.
We went to the heart of downtown St. Augustine and stopped at all the candy shops, got some great pizza at PizzaAlley,and headed to our hotel:

Which had it's own beach access:

We swam in the pool (as seen from our balcony):

In the morning we woke up to this:

And went across the street to the beach:


We then went to the GUANA TOLOMATO MATANZAS NATIONAL ESTUARINE RESEARCH RESERVE & ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION CENTER:

We took the girls to a special park and they had their first. . .

Carousel ride!
And enjoyed the rest of the park:

Now that was a fun mini-vacation!
