Elizabeth decided on a sdrawkcab (backwards) theme for her birthday party.
The invitations were all written backwards and had to be read in a mirror (unless you can read backwards!). She invited all her guests to wear their clothing backwards. We said "Goodbye" when they arrived and "Hello" when the party guests left. They made name tags with their name spelled backwards and the pronunciation of their backwards name became their new name.
We started off with cake and ice cream:

Everyone stood up instead of sitting in chairs:
We played some fun party games: Backwards Word Scramble and Backwards Sayings and then had a fun a balloon game.

Backwards around the cones:
And backwards jump rope:
We even played backwards basketball:
We went in for lunch and then it was time for presents:
We all had a great time celebrating Yizzl's yadhtriB ("Lizzy's" Birthday)!
After the party guests left Elizabeth opened her present from Mom and Dad:
