Family Vacation 2016 - Day 15

Thousand Springs State Park
Just inside the park was the first spring:

Waterfalls make mommy very happy:

We saw something going on so we went over to see what was happening:

Some men with the fisheries were stocking the pond:

We watched and talked to the men for a while:

Then we drove on to the next spring:

We did some exploring:

We saw plenty of springs along the way:

We relaxed for awhile by the water:

Time for lunch so we headed off to our next adventure.  We picnicked at a playground park right near our next stop:
Inside was a little museum. It was a hot day and Rachel wasn't feeling so well so she rested while Lizzy tried on some period clothing:

Lizzy also earned another Jr. Ranger Badge:

Rachel was feeling better so we headed off for some more exploring:

We came upon this sign:

The cliffs we very rocky and steep. We will not be getting any closer:

Did I mention that it was Hot!?
We decided to head to our motel and then find a place to go
swimming:

Dad had previously booked a night at the Redford Motel in a tiny little town in Glenns Ferry, Idaho. This place was a bit behind the times:

Can you hear me now?

Now it was time to cool off at:

Yes, of course we had seaweed fights!
