Today's hike was to Panther Creek Falls. We drove 9 miles to the trail head:
We found the trail length sign:
3.5 miles in and then 3.5 miles back out = 7 miles!
Most of the trail followed the creek. We stopped to play and rest near the creek along the way:
We were getting tired and happy to be getting close to the Falls:
We had fun swimming:
And climbing on the falls:
Time to head back. Rachel got to rest along the way for a little while:
We were tired but we made it back:
We stopped at the Tallulah George visitors center:
We were excited to see our new friend from the campground:
We left Tallulah Gorge campground the next morning but we got our new friend's address and sent her a post card while we were still on vacation (when we got back home we got a letter from her in the mail too).
