Day Ten
Saturday, July 15th, 2017
Moccasin Creek State Park, Clarkesville, GA
We drove through Moccasin Creek Park to the Hemlock Falls trail head:
There was a little chill in the early morning air.
We found a tiny waterfall along the trail:
The waterfalls were getting bigger along the way:
And Bigger:
We had fun playing in the water too:
A little further down the trail we came to Hemlock Falls!:
We had a mini photo shoot:
Then we explored the falls:
We spent some cuddle time with mommy:
We made some new friends:
We hiked a little further up and made it to the top of the waterfall:
Time to head back down.
Lizzy saw how much fun Luna was having walking through the mud on the trail so she gave it a try:
It was our last night at the cabin so on the way back we decided to stop at the Gourd Museum which was 1/2 mile from the cabin:
At the museum you could try on a gourd head. So we had some fun with that!:
Inside there was a gourd puzzle:
Rachel got gored by a gourd:
No worries, it didn't hurt at all:
We had a great day. Luna was exhausted! She went right to her crate and fell asleep:
