Last year a feral cat had a litter of kittens and our neighbor friend Karla took them in and got them to a vet and then adopted them all out. The kittens were super-cute but it was a lot of work.
Mama cat had another litter of kittens. She had them on the next street over, but we know our neighbors even along the other streets so we got to see the new kittens. There were six kittens but the runt of the litter didn't survive.
As the kittens got older mama cat and her kittens started to explore the neighborhood. We saw 2 orange kittens and three black/brown kittens a few times on our street. Before long the orange kittens were no longer coming around. We assumed they were taken in and adopted by someone because they were super-cute!
Once we started putting food out, mama cat and the remaining three kittens started coming around all the time!

We watched Mama through the window feeding and snuggling her babies was so cute!

They were very cautious (feral like their mama) around us! This was as close as we could get.
