Week Eight Day Five Trail Adventure: Lake Alto and Lake Alto Preserve - Treefrog Trail and Lakeview Loop (blue trail).
The last time we came here there were people here (unable to social distance) so we left without even touching the water. So today we came really early and had the waterfront to ourselves:

It was a beautiful morning but actually a little bit on the cool side:

Located in the marsh area:

After swimming we went on our hike. This trail-head is located at the same park:

"Oh, I hope we don't see any 🐊.":

"No, what a shame if we don't see an 🐊.":

This trail was quite narrow and lush:

There were plenty of blackberries!! However, the trail was flooded so we had to retreat:Back at the trail-head I considered Plan B. According to the trail map there is another trail-head entrance:
We found it!!:
We are hopeful about this side of the trail:
Wide, clear and well marked trails!:
There were quite a few birds (of all kinds) and butterflies too:
Luna has taken on a protector role. When one of us falls behind she waits with them:
Deer tracks (although we didn't actually see one today):
Very large arachnid!:
We think: Raccoon tracks:
We made it to the lake!:
The dock was very nice:
The view was even nicer!!:
We were all very happy to enjoy this beautiful spot on this absolutely beautiful day:
Relaxing...ahh:
We will definitely visit here again soon!:
Rachel had a Zoom class meeting:
End of trail. The girls were pretty tired after this adventure but we all agreed it was a great day:
