Week Eight Day Four Trail Adventure: Bayard Conservation Area East Trail-head:
Our first time here and it is a beautiful day:

The trail-head was a short walk from the parking lot. We decided on the white trail, to the yellow, and then red. Not sure how far we'll go on the red:

The trail was wide and very well marked:

Lots of yellow flowers on the yellow trail 💛. There was also a pink butterfly that was too busy for a pic:

The crickets were very large here!

Two miles in there was a rest area with a portable, picnic tables, and pump water (not potable). We took a break and decided on how much of the red trail we would do. I lost two one and we only went about a half mile on the red trail:

We saw a total of five dear throughout our adventure today:

We went 4 miles today. They were pretty tired. Even Luna was ready to get to the car. Lizzy took a nap on the way home:
