Week Four Day One Trail Adventure: Sweet Water Gainesville-Hawthorne State Trail- 5.3 miles today!
Today's hike started off here again. There was a little bit of "teenage grumpy", but that didn't last long. We headed to what I thought was a different hike than we took the previous time we were here but I was mistaken. So we decided to go back to the start and go the opposite direction on the Gainesville-Hawthorn Trail.

There were pretty butterflies everywhere!
There was a lucky charm right at the start!
We
decided to follow this guide along the way. We already went to the
Boulware Springs Trailhead (again). Next was the spur to Sweet Water
overlook.

The trail so far has been shaded by beautiful trees.
Our spur welcome committee.
Very nice day for a beautiful view!
Back on the trail we made another friend.
He was practicing social distancing
Awesome swinging vines!

We did this for a while

Double swing!
Another wild flower along the way:

We didn't see any 🐊 here.
More pretty along the way.

An edible one:
They are delicious and nutritious!

A great hiking score!

Lizzy actually had a class phone-in meeting so we rested while she called into the meeting:
Although this was a big snake, this is all we could capture on the camera.
We went 5.3 miles and it was one of our favorite hikes!

Happy adventurers!
